A teacher from Gilbert, Arizona, Joshua Zatcoff worked as an attorney before embarking on a career in education in 2014. Today, Joshua Zatcoff teaches for the Advanced Placement College Preparatory in Chandler, Arizona.
Mr. Zatcoff served as a student attorney with the Family Law Project in 2012, providing pro bono legal aid to those dealing with domestic violence. In 2013, he became the Arizona Attorney General. Mesa Public Schools hired him in 2014 him in an administrative role, where he was involved with Spanish language intake processing and coordinating standardized testing.
In 2015, Mr. Zatcoff began working as a teacher-in-residence for Advanced Placement College Preparatory, where he teaches AP government, history, and language and composition to students in grades three through 12. He is also the campus standardized test administrator. For a year beginning in 2023, he taught the English counterpart to a French immersion program as part of Arizona Language Schools.
Outside of teaching, Mr. Zatcoff’s personal interests include playing sports, practicing martial arts, and watching film and television. He also has an interest in traveling to Europe and learning languages (having learned Italian, French, and Spanish).
